HOW TO FIX GETTING VIEWS BUT NO SALES ON ETSY? 2022 GUIDE

So you're getting views but no sales on Etsy. In this post, I'll show you how you can turn those views into sales.

so that you may earn from the platform First and foremost, I'd want to congratulate you for generating traffic to your shop, which is one of the most difficult things for many Etsy sellers to achieve.

So great done, but views don't pay the bills, so let's go through some of the reasons why people might not buy your products after seeing them, so you can convert as many of those views that you're already getting into sales.

Understand where your viewers are coming from?

So, if I were looking at your business behind the scenes, the first thing I would do is look at your shop statistics and find out where your traffic is coming from.

Are you getting traffic from Etsy searches or is all of your traffic coming from other marketing activities such as social mediaPinterest, and so on? If I look at your stats and you're not getting any search traffic, then this is something I would recommend and suggest that you do to optimize your listings in search for people who are looking to buy them on Etsy subscribe to the blog so you don't miss it.

Figure out Why shoppers aren't visiting or buying ?

If you're getting views from Etsy sets, you should analyze why customers aren't clicking on them when they see them in the Etsy search results.

So let's look at why it is.

Do your keywords match your product?

First and foremost, do the keywords you're employing match the product for sale in that listing? If they don't, the views you're now getting aren't related to the goods, which is why they're not converting into visits.

People aren't clicking on it, and they're obviously not buying it because it doesn't match their keyword search. This is something you'll want to address as soon as possible because each listing on Etsy receives a listing quality score, and if people keep seeing a listing in the search results but don't click on it, your listing quality score suffers, which is difficult to recover from.

So your next step is to ensure that all of the keywords in your listings correspond to the product for sale.

Is Your Thumbnail attractive & does it stand out amongst the others?

The photo displayed as your thumbnail comes in second.

So, is the first photo in your listings, which is similar to the cover art, attractive, and does it stand out from the other search results that are displayed?

So, if I show you these two examples, which one do you think is more attractive? This one is because it's professional, well-lit, and not blurry.

So make sure your thumbnail is well-lit, professional, and not blurry, and that it looks great and appealing to the customer.

The second stage is that your photo will be plainly displayed amongst everyone else's, and if you create the same type of thumbnail or photo as everyone else, you'll just blend in instead of standing out.

So that the shopper's eyes are attracted to your listing first, try a different background color or a different photo style. The possibilities are unlimited; you don't want to blend in, you want to stand out.

How does Your price compare to other listing ?

The third factor that may discourage consumers from clicking and buying your listing when they see it in search is your price point. How does your price point compare to everything else in the search results?

This doesn't mean you have to have the cheapest price to get the most visitors and sales; in fact, pricing in the medium or higher price range might actually generate more sales because the price is a factor in everyone's buying decisions. Some people are more price aware than others, but pricing is affected by several aspects, one of which is quality.

So, if you're pricing on the higher end of what's in the search results, make sure your photos help communicate why that higher price point is there.

thus be sure of your rates You'll be OK if you back it up with marketing and branding.

Are Your shipping options & speed competitive ?

The fourth factor is the shipping options that you have available. Some customers will be more inclined to buy when there is free shipping, while others want it now, not in a week's time. You do not have to cater to everyone, but just be aware that people like cheap shipping and they want it fast; it's just how we are in the modern day.

So, once again, look at your shipping choices, costs, and shipment speed, and compare them to your rivals. Are you doing everything you can to make it as inexpensive and quick as possible?

Are Your photo section & description answering all your shopper's questions

The next thing that could be preventing shoppers from purchasing your product once they see it and view it in the search results is the quality of your listing, specifically the photo section and the description you're presenting in those two places, or the information that a potential shopper would have when looking at your product online so that they can make a decision to buy and why they'd want to buy yours over someone else's.

So consider your problems and issues. the kinds of hurdles that may exist in someone's mind when purchasing anything online, for example, if it's fragile, will it arrive safely and undamaged? If it's a present, will it come on time? You know, based on your product, there may be a variety of issues. Objections, hurdles, and the like are all topics that you should address in your photographs and description.

My top suggestion here is that if you have the same type of recurring etsy message or chat from consumers asking you questions, there are more people not contacting you to ask you that question since a lot of people won't even message you, they'll just go and go find it someplace else there.

So, if you're getting a lot of messages about specific things, make sure you incorporate that into your listing photos and description because, realistically, if someone's messaging you, they haven't had their question answered, and it's your job as an Etsy seller and to help convert more sales to address all of those questions in the photos and description.

Do Your Variations help or hurt?

Next, variations in your listing may be preventing people from purchasing your product if you have a product with too many variations. For example, let's say you offer this sweatshirt in this design you offer the design in different colors you offer the t-shirt in different colors you then have different sizes that is a lot for the buyer to go through to pick from it's a little overwhelming and if you confuse the shopper you'll lose sales.

Let's say, for example, to make it easier, the design is always white, you have three colors that the sweatshirt is available in, and you have the size much easier to pick from, making it much less overwhelming. So double check that your variations help or provide some options in terms of customization or personalization rather than overwhelm and confuse, because remember if you confuse, you lose.

shop quality

next thing that might be affecting your ability to convert views into sales is your shop quality meaning does your shop look professional does it look trustworthy and does it look like your shop is ready to accept orders.

so for instance does your shop look like it's finished being set up this might look like the number of listings if you've only got one or two obviously people might be like are they still setting up their shop especially if you've got no sales whereas if you put some thought into

more listings that all mix and match it would look more professional it's much trustworthy and obviously your shop looks ready and available to accept orders this also looks like making sure all your policies are completed.

we talked a moment ago about addressing all your customers and objections concerns your policies are part of that whether that's returns cancellations you've got an faq section there too and of course the overall branding that you've used in your shop now branding is more than just your fonts and colors it's actually the overall kind of vibe of your shop.

so are you kind of selling the same thing rather than lots of podge weird and wonderful things do you have a professionally um enticing banner are your listing photos great do they all like look like from the same shop like branding is pretty big.

so again make sure that your shop looks professional it looks trustworthy and it looks like it's had some thought intention behind it.

so those are why potentially people might not be buying your product when they're seeing it in the search results

I hope this article help You to acheive Your Goal on your etsy busnesss.
